3LH CATTLE COMPANY
IT ALL STARTED WHEN…we stumbled upon our dream property, close to town yet in the middle of the farm country. We slowly started cleaning up the property and quickly added a small herd of cows, flock of chickens, ducks and geese. In the spring of 2017 we started our first rotational grazing venture with our small herd of cattle. It was life altering, it just felt right, the cows were so happy, the grass was improving and you just wanted to sit out with the animals and watch them graze. That was it we were hooked. Our cattle are raised with good health and love in mind! We have a group of calves for sale each year, and occasionally an adult cow. Most of our calves are raised in the pasture with their moms, until weaning at 5-6 months of age.
THE HERD
Born in 2020, this 100% Highland Heifer standing at 38 1/2” tall, she has an amazing temperament, and loves to be scratched and brushed, especially under the neck.
Born in 2020, this 100% Highland Heifer standing at 41” tall, she also has an amazing temperament, and loves to be scratched and brushed.
Born in 2020, this 100% Highland Bull standing at 43” tall is one solid little stud muffin, he has an amazing temperament and solid sound build and will naturally throw small framed offspring, Bruno is our primary herd bull, he breeds the majority of our females and we have never had calving issues even with our chondro positive girls in his herd.
